At Midwest Abacus & Learning Center, we offer a variety of courses to enhance classroom performance.
We currently offer courses in Abacus Math, Core Math, English, and ACT preparation.
In our math course, students use their knowledge to solve word problems and use real-world applications. We use curriculum developed by Abacus Mind Math and our staff of professional teachers.
Abacus Math
KINDERGARTEN - 4th GRADE
This course teaches basic arithmetic using the innovative Abacus Methodology. Using this tool, children learn to visualize numbers to quickly perform math in their head.
Core Math
3rd - 6th GRADE
This course offers a comprehensive framework to help students learn, reinforce, and retain the core skills they need for long-term success in mathematics.
Middle School Math Tutoring
6th - 8th GRADE
This course is an extension of what is being taught at school. Students can receive help on their current coursework with a certified math teacher and challenge themselves with additional enrichment materials.

English
KINDERGARTEN - 5th GRADE
Our English program focuses on grammar, reading comprehension, writing, and public speaking. Students are encouraged to work at their own pace, enhance their listening skills, and interact with peers throughout the course.
College Readiness
8th - 12th GRADE
Our college readiness course gives students the resources they need to navigate through the college entry process. This course is developed by Your Learning Center to enhance college entrance exam scores.
