Learning in a Time of Change

Apr 16, 2020

All I can say is wow… what a massive change for all of us. Now that we have had about a month to process this change and know that it will be for the rest of the academic school year, the question is now how? How do we educate? How do we continue supporting our students?

I will share a story. One evening, after a day of my husband leading the homeschooling, he spoke about the frustrations he and our daughter faced. I immediately went into my teacher brain and starting giving him tips, tricks and the general psychology of teaching I learned to become a teacher. He looked at me and said, “Oh! that would work, but I don’t think of these things like you do”. See my husband is a software developer. That is how his mind works. After being in his shoes (and my friends)  for a minute I gained much more empathy towards the struggle.

We are a community. Always. I want to help in any way that I can. My team wants to help. Please reach out to us and let’s all work out a plan to help each other.

Please contact us for a virtual session at no cost.  Let’s move forward and keep learning together!
