Online Classes and Center Updates

Jul 29, 2020

I know that all of you have had a lot of information sent from your school districts. Classes online, in person and hybrids are all being considered. After our survey results and much discussion we have decided to stay online. We hope to have in person appointments on Saturdays possibly starting in September. We will weigh that on the outcome of students going back in the physical classroom.

We understand that there have been bumps along the way and we appreciate your understanding and patience. Starting August 1st we are changing the times of classes to reflect what we would be doing in center. Students will have the option to attend class from 5-6:30PM and 6:30-8PM. Classes will be an hour and a half, just like if we were in center. Please note that Core Math will only be offered 6:30PM-8PM. We will sending out a survey (https://forms.gle/oJZi47bfQ35Ekfxx8) asking what class you would like to attend so we may have enough spots for everyone. Please note you may be asked to attend for another time due to the attendance of the class.

After listening to the parent concerns and suggestions we are working on an online platform where students can submit work. We will not be taking books to grade. Online work will help parents and teachers see where the student needs more assistance. When this is up and working we will let everyone know.

We know that online learning can be difficult and want to help as much as possible. This could be a 15 minute session to help explain a concept to an hour to go in-depth. All registration and teacher availability is listed in the appointments tab. This tab is located on our website when you go to your membership log in. Time is split into 15 minute increments. Schedule as much time as you need!
